Over the last five decades I have been a part of the development and growth of what we now call the Christian Music Industry. When I joined Word Records during my junior year of college in 1970, most of our sales came from traditional and southern gospel artists.
But God was moving powerfully among my generation and almost overnight Contemporary Christian Music began to dominate the airwaves, album displays, and concert events. It provided a platform for countless legendary recording artists and ultimately became a birthing ground for the worship movement we all enjoy.
Today, God continues to raise up gifted, talented and “called” individuals to CREATE AND DELIVER all genres of Christian Music.
